Established in 1955, the Norfork National Fish Hatchery is a cold water hatchery primarily for the production of trout to restock the tailwaters below Norfork, Bull Shoals, and other dams.

If you are a young angler or a person of any age confined to a wheelchair, we have you covered as well! Resting next to the Norfork Hatchery is Dry Run Creek, one of the top streams in America, and designed to accommodate stocking trout and easy access fishing for the mobility impaired and youngsters under the age of 16.

Norfork Lake has more than 550 miles of shoreline and covers some 22,000 acres. There are 19 developed U.S. Army Corps of Engineers parks that provide plenty of opportunities for camping and for water sports.

A historic house on Arkansas Highway 5 in Norfork, Arkansas. It is a log structure, built in 1825 by Jacob Wolf, the first documented white settler of the area. Architecturally it's a "saddlebag", which is a two-story dog trot with the second floor built over the open breezeway.
